Global Camp is a non-profit digital platform hosted by the Global Camp Association. Global Camp offers free and transparent information of the world’s most favorable camps to assist parents in searching, selecting and applying for summer and winter camps. We also provide group discounts of certain distinctive camps and strive to be the “Google” and “Groupon” for camps. Our goal is to alleviate the stress and hassle of finding the right camps for children and help them enjoy a fruitful and unforgettable experience.

Our executive team is made up of professional and highly experienced “moms” around the globe. Jiayin Li, one of the co-founders of Global Camp, lives in New York City. In 2015, one of her friends took her child from Beijing to New York for a summer camp organized by a camp agent. The camp agent and the summer camp turned out to be a scam. This gave Jiayin an idea of establishing a portal to provide transparent camp information.

Today, parents love to have their children go abroad during summer break to have different experiences. Children can learn foreign languages, be exposed to a different culture, expand their vision of the world, and raise the level of independence. Due to limited information, most parents choose overseas study groups organized by domestic agents. These programs come with high price tags. Furthermore, such groups are often just tour groups and cannot live up to the parents’ expectations.

Global Camp provides children opportunities to participate in well-organized camp programs in foreign countries, to study and play with local children, and to be exposed to foreign education in real sense. Parents may easily search camp information and apply directly on Global Camp portal without having to contact any agent.

Global Camp was launched in March 2016. Since then, we have been working hard and have researched and visited countless camp programs. Today, we are proud to say that we have curated nearly 1,000 most distinctive and reputable camps. These camp programs are mainly hosted in US, Canada, Europe and China and specialize in various areas such as sports, art, technology, chess, academics, outdoors, leadership and public service. We will add more camp programs from Australia, Central America, South America, Africa, Asia and other regions.

Global Camp has established a "Children's Writing Fund" with over USD 10,000. The purpose of the fund is to foster love and enjoyment for writing. Children are encouraged to write about their experience and thoughts of the camps they participated. All the authors will receive a reward of USD 50 and their essays will be published on our website and our social media channels. Parents are also welcomed to share with us your observations and thoughts of your children’s camp experience. With your help, we are confident that Global Camp will continue to flourish.
