CYLC aims to step up communication  between young Chinese Americans, to help them increase their cooperation and self-confidence, and to raise their pride as ethnic Chinese while preparing for integration into mainstream American society. Camps create a safe environment for teens to build friendships, co-operative skills and social skills.
