Hotchkiss Summer Portals is a residential program that offers middle and high-school age students the opportunity to hone a talent, try something new, and experience life at a New England boarding school. In each two or three-week session, you will learn from dedicated faculty members and experts. You’ll also live in a dorm with kids from other programs and a faculty advisor, take part in fun activities, and hang out with new friends.

Summer Portals Programs include: American Literature and Theater Program; Astronomy; DNA Science; DNA Science Advanced Practicum; Environmental Science; Leadership Program: Innovate, Transform, Inspire; Piano Program; Robotics; Software Engineering; Speech and Debate. Students apply through an online form, and must submit two letters of recommendation and a current school transcript. International applicants must also provide either standardized test scores (SSAT or TOEFL for example) or a graded English paper. Students may apply for two programs, provided they are not in the same session.
